The safest place for my 16' long chute cables is inside the frame tubes. My
Frame is 1 7/8" OD x .120 wall mild steel tubing.

I'm thinking the best place is at a cross member junction. Drill in the
cross member corner and diagonally across the frame tube so the slot would be
totally under the intersection and out of site. More importantly, it would be
reinforced by the intersecting cross member.

As an alternative, could a larger hole be drilled so a small piece of tubing
can be welded in the hole? This would be standard practice for holes through
the frame in free standing areas.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Otto
