Glen Barrett was in an unnatural situation today ... walking around the
salt. He genuinely seemed to enjoy being out of his timing palace and
rubbing shoulders with all the folks he will be timing this next week.
Chris and Ed Shearer were busy helping get things set up. Everything
seemed to be going smoothly in spite of the crowds. the inspection
lines shut down at six and there were cars anxious to be first in line
tomorrow so they could get through inspection before the driver's
meeting. The Salt Talks tees are on the salt, Jon and Nancy have put
together an auction to get some money for Jon and this site. If you
can't bid you might as well send a few bucks his way to say thanks.
I'm sure he would be happy to give his address to anyone who asks.
