Pt seems to me that the way rule 3.I reads, screw type clamps must be used  
on braided hose and doesn't mention AN fittings.  This rule must be more  
ignored than the 55 speed limit.  Who puts a hose clamp on an AN fitting  and 
where 
would you put it?   Rule 3.R simply states that a metal  clamp must be used.  
No need to screw if you just want the one size fits  one size clamp or a 
spring OEM type.
