I ran 1/2" aluminum fuel line tubing completely around the fuel cell. I went
down the side, around the bottom, up the other side, across the top and down
the same side I started on. The tube exits out the bottom of the belly pan.
I figured no matter how I may end up, excluding "lawn jarted" into the salt,
I'd be cool.
There are also "tip over" valves but they aren't cheap compared to aluminum
tubing. I'm not sure "tip over" valves are legal as they have a ball check
that may not be effective if you are laying on your side.
I don't agree that you need a huge vent line equal to the fuel feeds. Air
moves much, much easier than gas.
Big vent lines on dry sump oil tanks are another story, go big or go home!
