If I recall correctly, 350 blocks and 327 blocks are identical.  It's 
the stroke that makes the difference.  I thought all 327s were 
small-journal motors, but there may have been one year where a large 
journal 327 was made.  I've also been told that one can create a 327 
from a 350 by using a 307 crank and rods.  I've never tried it, but 
it seemed logical at the time I heard it.
