How about the spark plug wire shielding.  MSD, Moroso, and a number of
ignition people sell it.  It should cover your quarter inch lines perfectly.

I don't think that foam stuff for pipes is gonna have sufficient high-temp
and radiation resistance--might even be rather flamable.  I'd guess the
subject lines go near the exhaust, perhaps?  You then need radiation
shielding
as much as or more than insulation.  So I'd be thinking metal (with some
sort of liner/spacer just to keep the metal out of contact with the line).
