That was the link I was after. The descriptions kept mentioning an
"internal" clutch but I couldn't see a disk pack inside the gear box when
looking at bare gears.  That was because it is hidden inside a gear housing.
This link is what I was after and shows it best.

This ad mentions drive flange which sounds like no external clutch .
