Well, I'm back from the Rocks Show, put on by the Baltimore, Md Club.
Again, an outstanding show, with terriffic cars, great people, & roast
beef that was even better than last year.

Got to see some old friends, made a few new ones. That was the best part
of the show.

As far as the cars go, there were 5 fantastic V8's, & I took my V8 GT. 4
of the conversions were GT's, 2 of these were Sebring style, & were
really works of art. To be precise, one of the V8's was really a V6, a
fuel injected Chevy, done, as the Brits say, "to a very high standard".

Among the many outstanding cars was a black Bug Eye Sprite, as nice as
any I have ever seen, a red Sunbeam Tiger, as nice as the Sprite. One of
the most unusual, was an original 1964 Sebring Sprite. The car was raced
on a Sunday at Sebring, then sold. It sat in a dealer showroom for
several years, somehow wound up in Mass., & now has a total milage under
1300. Car has never been registered for the street.

On another note, someone I talked to had info on a salvage yard in Pa
that specialized in Range Rovers. I have since had a brain fade & have
no clear memory of the conversant. If anyone has info about this salvage
yard, please let me know.

Congratulations to all the Baltimore Club members for putting on another
class show.

Jim Stuart
(who scored some awsome part purchases)
