Question 1: I'm trying to assemble my rockers and have run into a few
questions. The shop manual is a quite vague as to the correct method. There
is a notch in the end of the shaft which should go on the top side when
installed. This I understand. The picture I have shows that the notch
should face the back on the ride side (drivers side) and the front on the
passenger side. Am I right so far? My big question is. There are obviously
two different sets of rocker arms included. The only external difference
between them is that the little slot by the shaft hole is on different sides
of the rocker arms. This slot corresponds to the offset oil hole inside the
arm. My question is which set goes on which side. This is very hard to
describe, but I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about.
Question 2: While cleaning the garage, I threw away the Felpro gasket
instructions. Does the head gasket go, shiny (metallic side) up or down?
