For the record, the insulation is for the rockers, since my pipes are going 
THROUGH the rockers.  I would like to put a little something down so that I 
don't burn the paint and the carpet off the sills.  I would also like to avoid 
such things as burning myself and anything else that goes near the sills.  I am 
not trying to build a refrigerator, I am just trying to keep temps low enough 
so as not to build a firetrap.

PS:  All I want are some recomendations of heat insulation.  I have already 
found a few sources but would like to know what works and what people like.
