As part of changeover to Ford V8, I eliminated all the MG dashboard gauges
and switches and bought all VDO gauges. I never did see my dashboard in
working order (I bought the car as a basket case) and I dont know what used
to go in all the holes. Some are apparently indicator lights and some are
rocking switches, but for what? The original dash was for 71 roadster. Can
anyone help with either name of a reference source where I can find labelled
diagram or maybe a scanned photo with labels?? I have a 72-75 dash now with
blanked out left, a new 3-gauge cluster fitted into the center part, and
glovebox (without the box liner) on the right. I still have the indicator
light holes. The pad is now only the right half plus perimeter surrounding
the remainder, leaving painted metal elsewhere (like MGA).
