Looks like Jim Goodwin wins the cupie doll.  I tightened all the header bolts 
and the
"sputter" seems to have vanished.  I'll drive it some more tomorrow, if I am 
mistaken I'll
check the accelerator pump.  That seems to be the most popular suggestion.
