Hmmm... the "degree" symbol got converted to "0" in the e-mail process.
Obviously the range is -58 degrees F to 158 degrees F.  Sorry for any
confusion!

  can read the specs.  The outdoor range is -580F to 1580F, indoor is -40 to

    Good point!  No way to tell from the RS website how high these read.
    (Although an outdoor thermometer that didn't go a bit over 100 degrees F
