serial # 's / catalog # 's

I have a 70 Midget, with your help I now have started to receive parts
catalogs.  So far Moss & Victoria British.  My problem is many parts refer
the serial #.  In my case GAN 5 followed by 5 digits, thing is mine has 6
digits at the end.  It should be a 70, the year letter is "A" and every thing
says 1970. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
