        Hi all,

As part of my major overhaul of my 67' MGB i'm rebuilding the dash...
I'm going to be using VDO classic guages....
And I was wondering if anybody knew what switches the late model 75+
MG's had...they look a bit more modern than the ones in the 67' and
I think they also have neater heater controls????

For many reasons that mainly relate to the V8 up front..we are building
a hand made steering column....Since I have the original column...the
top end (where the steering is) will be the same as original (it can
be made differently)....Will the late model indicator/headlight cluster
etc fit an earlier model steering column???.I suspect the late model
one is deeper(longer) than the one in the 67'....I suppose I could
try and get a late model steering column...and model ours after that...
But I suspect finding on of thos could be difficult???

And last but not least...how strong is the standard steering rack?.can
you get high ratio racks for MGB's???...Do people who race MGB's
experience problems with the standard rack???

        Thanks

        Byron
