contrary to your optimism, yes they did redesign it, incompatably, on the B,
but it was done in 68 when they were still making lots of money, the dreaded
plague of British Phlegm-Sucking Leyland (thank you Scott Fisher!) hadn't yet
struck. The midget dash is interchangable because there wasn't anywhere to go
when they did the safety dash...the metal dash was already hard against the
windshield base as it was...
