Our rules are simple/
1 12x18 inch peice of white paper with a top margin to write competitor's
name etc in, placed anywhere under car at owner's discretion for a period of
90 minutes. Papers are then collected, judged by an impartial but preferably
slightly bent and perhaps somewhat nearsighted panel of judges. Judges always
have their own standards, but texture, thickness, and originality of pattern
all have certain influence (as does the occasional glass of our own hometown
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale) on the judges decisions.
The ART is then displayed and awards given among much hilarity, giving a
break from the more serious awards of the meet.
We also do a "blind parts feel" , being a series of bags with a LBC part
inside each that you can feel, not see, and must identify.
