I too agree that an electric fan is usually not neccessary.  If your car is
set up and maintained properly, you should not need to make any modifications
for cooling.
I have an excellent tech article on cooling written by our Texas MG
Register's technical guru, Art Ziesk.  It is rather long (2 pages) so I have
not sent it to the list.  Let me know If you would like to read it, if many
do then I'll send it to the list
