I confess I'm not a painter and I don't have friends who paint their
construction equiment with Imron.  I was told by my painter, who does
custom work that its very expensive and DOES chip.

Its surprising to hear from BHill that the Imron will chip.  In the
past, friends told me that Imron was used on construction equipment,
cause the stones would bounce off WITHOUT chipping.  I guess that is
what they mean by
