Mud Shields

This is the first time I've been on this list so pardon me if this has been
brought up before.

I need to replace the "mud guard/shield" on my '77 MGB. This is a cardboard
panel that fits between the radiator and the engine. Moss and VB have the
original cardboard replacements. 

I was wondering if anyone knows of a more durable solution (i.e., aluminum)?
