Fellow fiends:
Me and me mates are starting the rebuild on the od box I recently picked up
and though we are not yet finished with the disassembly we are putting
together a list of items that will be needed.
Is anyone out there in mg.net.land breaking up an early 3-synchro box or who
has some bits in his/her garage?
At present I know I will need a new first gear and may also need a first
motion shaft and a new lay gear. If anyone has such bits in good condition
and is willing to sell, please contact me. At this point the rest of the
box looks to be in good shape so I hope that I don't neet more bits. Next:
on to the od unit! Stay tuned as Zehring learns more about gear boxes!
