Most tire dealers I've dealt with over the years seem to agree that
there is no problem using a tube in a radial tire, so long as you use a
RADIAL tube. I think it's ok to use radial tubes in bias-ply tires, but
it is strongly recommended that you NOT use bias-style tubes in a radial
casing.
