73 mg wiring

I recently acquired a 73 MGB and although I've danced with Lucas ('62 AH /
'68 TR250), I'd like to get some opinions on my current MG
problem..........the fuel gauge, the volts guage nor the directional signals
are current working.  Both gauges appear to have power but fail to give any
reading,  the directional signals don't work, but the idiot arrows  so glow.
  Any help would be appreciated
