I have a Crane/Allison Ignition. Works well, but my gripe is that the
brackets with which the optical gate is mounted inside the distributor is
very fragile - thin cheap sheetmetal. It is easily bent, and since it
screwed in with only one screw, it likes to work loose.
I have heard that the Lumenition system is much nicer, but have only seen
it on pictures. If I were you, I would check out one of those.
If you can't find one, Special Interest Car Parts sells them.
