My 1978 GT has rubber bumpers (obviously)
but also has wire wheels. I gather from a
previous owner that they were last painted
about 5 years ago, so they look a little scruffy.
First, what is reckoned to be the best way to
clean them up?
Second, what's the best thing to paint them with
once they are cleaned? (I don't want to chrome
them, as this costs lots and the chrome is just
ruined by road grime/stones etc - I do a lot of
miles in my MG)
