Hi,

You were smart enough to fill up your tank before winter so that the fuel
will undergo very little degradation in that short time. Generally if the
fuel is less than a year old, a full tank of premium fuel will clean it out.
If the tank is corroding, the sludge factor will be worse but not
necessarily because of the fuel. A bottle of dry-gas doesn't hurt.

Have fun,

Hello,

The last time I filled up the gas tank on my '66 MGB was sometime in
November -- meaning that the fuel has been in the tank for many months. Is
there any sort of additive I should put in the tank to help clean it out or
should I just run the car normally and just fill it up when it runs low like
usual?

Now the weather is warming up I wouldn't want to find out that I have a fuel
problem that could have easily been avoided. <g>

Thanks,
Ross
