Some folk seem to have the impression that I am promoting/convinced/duped
by the device. I'm not. My purpose for posting was primarily to solicit
info from any petrochemical engineers out there on the validity of the
"tin as lead substitute" claim and the possibility of tin being leached into
a fuel stream. I also posted the info in the hope that it might put the
discussion beyond "mystery processes and testimonials" so that we can
debate the validity of a specific process.

So, can anyone shed light on the questions? David Council has raised a couple
more questions, but I guess we need specific petrochemical expertise here..

If we don't make any progress using our considerable pool of expertise, then
I'll take a look at some of the literature in that area. I'll also call the
tech reps at the RACV (AA equiv). I'll leave it another week or so then I'll
start chasing info.
