I am a total fan of the Optima battery, I have one in the Mayflower and one
in the Arnolt. When the TA batteries die, I'm getting just one for it. and
also the SA whose batteries have already died, while waiting for the 5 year
restoration to conclude.
The Moss price, like most of their aftermarket stuff is High. You can get an
Optima at a speed shop for around $127. Call them in Denver and find out who
your local distributor is. A local Stereo installer in Berkeley just started
carrying them...and no he didn't sell any to the Unobomber!
The only down side to the Optima is that it looks like a red and gray 6 pack.
They don't leak or discharge while sitting, 800 amps of crank in a very
small package and they don't spill in a crash....its a gel cel.
