You're going on your Honeymoon and you're looking for a good root........!

Far be it for a gentleman from the great state of Georgia, so often accused
of not having the golden tongue of a proper Bostonian, to correct the
latter's grammar but........don't you mean ROUTE. I would not deign to mix
the two words, "honeymoon" and "root" in mixed company, certainly in the
presence of your bride-to-be for fear that she might doubt your masculine
abilities and skills though as a new groom, weak they may be.

When you leave London, head toward the NE toward Cambridge then shoot over
toward the NW toward the Cotswalls, N through Warwick to Birmingham (yes,it
is industrial but you'll like it), head left(NE) and dip into Wales, then
head NW through the Lake district, and straight on to Glasgow/Edinburgh. If
you can make a W trip in Scotland to Oban, you won't be sorry. Very
romantic little fishing village. (If you're in Oban, drive down to Easdale
on the shore. Ask for the Kilts and Trousers Pub. I don't remember the
gaelic name.)

This is rough but it will give you some idea. I hope this ROUTE helps.
Good luck on the honeymoon........ (;-)
