Concours d'Alarm - the sequel

I sometimes set off alarms entering the parking area under my condominium but
only in second gear at a certain speed.  People thought I was making it up. 
But I was sure it was my  exhaust  "note",  and it was another sign that the
car was running just right.  

I stopped telling people about it until friends reported that their garage
door opener responded to the sound of small planes taking off from a nearby
airport.  Now they believe me.      : )
