hot start

Your hot start problem is common around here.  Try putting your pressure 
guage to 2 lbs. Check to see if the asbestos has fallen awary from your 
heat shield.  Sounds to me like the dreded vapor lock.  This occurs when 
the fuel in teh line or carb has vaporized and will not allow liquid to 
flow through.  if that doesn't help check out the points and over all 
ignition system.  You can test for vapor lock by pouring cold water on 
teh fuel lines and carb bowels.  If the car then starts your problem can 
be solved by wrapping the lines.  good luck
