Ouch, ick, yeow, you people are making me nervous.  If you are talking 
about a fitting on the gas tank itself then please by all means use a brass 
drift pin to pound on, not a chisel or screwdriver.  I may get a little 
careless when working around cars, but when the temperature gets high and 
the gas fumes start to rise and I'm working around the gas tank I start to 
get very concerned about sparks.

Crashing a car on a track is one thing, having it blow up in your face is 
quite another.
