Wheel adapters

I took a few days off so I may have missed the outcome of the wire wheels
conversion to standard bolt on wheels thread. What was the end result? Was
there no interest at the price? 
I guess I'm just an old fashioned MG enthusiast ( remember those pictures in
the MG History books of people enjoying their cars in muddy hill climbs,
racing around corners etc.) in that I want to have my MG and thrash it too. I
think it would be wonderful to have a dual purpose MG, just by changing the
wheels.
