Gentlmen,
I guess I've been lucky. About seven, maybe eight years ago I replaced all
four of my shocks. The rear I replaced with new ones from VB. The front ones
I got from a local store, BAP (British Auto Parts, I believe), here in
Dallas. They were rebuilt. The reason I did this was because the front were
much more expensive new than the rear. I never have had any problems with any
of them. The car is a daily driver. Hope I haven't jinxed them.
I'm not sure if that store survived. If so, they moved. They were on Harry
Hines Blvd.
