I lowered my chrome-bumpered car by one inch and it handles fine.  I used the
really hard plastic bushings and inch-lowered, harder springs from Victoria
British.  I like how it rides.  It isn't too stiff and it looks nice.  I
don't know if it changes the geometry, though.
