212 degrees is not overheating.  Under pressure & with 50/50 coolant mix, you
shouldn't have a problem until the temp reaches almost 240.  Check your
radiator cap, and install an overflow bottle if necessary.  Might also try
Redline Water Wetter.  Does the temp drop back to 190 when traveling at
40-60mph?  If so everything is probably ok.
