Interesting point. What constitutes overheating?
David apparently defines it as when the water starts to boil.
But does the motor experience increased wear or permanent damage at
temperatures below 240F ? I don't really know. I think Motorhead
suggests the temp should never go above 190F. But they also say you
should put gear oil in your Spridget trans. :)
