Shoot! I'm confused already! I assumed lever-shock oil in the
original post but the first thread sounded like the dashpot.

Which is which and what goes where?

My guesses:
    Lever shocks; motorcycle front fork oil
    Carb dashpot; motor oil (20w 50)

Myth debunking:
    Symptoms of too thin or too thick oil in dashpot?
