Denise, try the Inperial War Museum near Elephant and Castle, you can get there
by underground. It is one of the best museums in the world. Perhaps between the
exhibits you might find the Ministry of War. If this fails, a favorite of mine
is the London Transport Museum. I like busses etc. Check them out for MOWOG .
Its a shame you will be only an hour or so from Abingdon. If you do make it,
ask
to see the Boundry House Pub (formerly Kimber's home) and check out the neet
plaque at the front entrance.
