...and I saw an ad on TV the other day for the XK-8. What a delight to
actually see an ad for a Jaguar sports car! How many years has it been?
I was at Price Club, and they had a Lexus there. The list price was
$52,000. You can get an XK-8 for $67,000. Only $15,000 more (Which is
as much as I've ever paid for any car, but that's beside the point!) you
can get a marvelous vehicle. I certainly hope the XK-8 blows the top
off the market!
re: land speed records: MG has captured a few of them in the past.
Wasn't the 'Bluebird' an MG-powered land speed record holder?
