Jim,
I've pulled out some GT headliners in my time, but only in 67 Cars.
They are resting in the top left, right and forward areas in the car 
and you pull out the headliner after removing the plastic liner over 
the rear hatch hinges. Carefully jiggle side to side, as you pull 
towards the rear of the car and it comes out in one nice piece.
