Jim..

You probably know this already, but when I was repainting my headliner,
I discovered that it wasn't permanently fixed in place, but was
rather what appeared to be a large piece of thick foam-like stuff
with vinal on one side.  I can't for the life of me think of how you
might get it out..  Perhaps if you moved it all the way to the front of
the car, and then bent down the side edges towards the back and
slid it out that way?
