Towing MGTD

         Hello,

      I've found an MGTD for sale about 375 miles from home.  I need some advice
on how
to get the car to its new home.  Right now, I thinking about using a tow dolly,
as I do not
have a big truck with which to pull a trailer, but I do have a large car with a
V8 engine.
If someone has done this, please let me know what I'm in for  and what I need to

know to make this a sucessfull trip.  Also, is it necessary to remove the drive
shaft
when the car is in tow.

       Any advice greatly appreciated.
