This is another area I comment on with care. I don't know Mark, or
what motivates him to spend all the time he does spend for our
enjoyment. , but we are all in his house playing with his toys.

My wife ,whose computer this is , is on several lists that interests
her, and what has happened to us has occured on her lists. As she
explains, the majordomo sets the rules and can change them when
necessary, and thats it. On one of her lists where someone was booted
for violating the rule against selling on the list, the defenders of
the rule breaker threatened to report the majordomo for his
actions. As she noted, report to who?

In 1990 my wife and I ran the Circuit of Britain for 89 T types. We
worked for four years on this project and had 2000 pieces of
individual correspondance. We filled in hundreds of forms, made
hundreds of different hotel reservations for the group of two hundred
people and took care of route planning, insurance, break down
recovery, gatherings, parties, air line reservations and car shipping.
90 percent of the group understood the effort that was made on a
volunteer basis, but a few complained day after day like they were on
a paid escorted tour. They didn't like where their room was,
complained about the sizes of the beds ( they expected King Size)
(Henry VIII ?) They never gave consideration to the fact that our
service was free, we paid our way just like the rest, and the trip
would have cost double had a travel agent made the arrangements. Those
few people almost ruined our time. It certainly has played a factor in
ever getting us to do it again.

The point is that Mark provides a service to us, and some complain because he
has made a move that makes it easier for him. What a crime he has committed!

I only hope Mark doesn't let these malcontents discourage him from
going on, as no one will do this for us. ( No one has done a tour of
England of the size we did either, for the same reason)

Mark, I and the vast number of us appreciate what you do, and I am guilty of
not expressing my thanks before this. Sorry for the long post, but nothing is
more valuable then life's experiences.
