I subscribe to three british car mags, and the amount of advertising is 
amazing.  They aren't cheap magazines, either.  I don't mind the ads; I 
find them reasonably interesting.  But they make it very hard to hold on 
to all the magazines.  I'd like to keep them for their non-advertising 
content, but they sure build up fast.  My end of my neighborhood is 
likely to sink in a few more years due to the magazines in my basement.

Classic Auto Restorer here in the states is useful, and interesting in 
that it has no ads.  Makes it look slim, but the content is reasonable 
and it stores easily.
