It was probably before December, and before the introduction of the MKII. My
67, #119794, built in early 1967 has octagon-shaped wheel nuts. I assume
they're
from the factory because the wheels I recently replaced were the original
Dunlops.

According to Clausager"s original MGB page 144, after Dec. 1967 all
export cars were fitted with the octaginal knockoff.
