Here's one thought:   Make sure that the engine is a 1500cc version.  Earleir
Fs had a TD 1298cc engine, and many F's with engine rebuilds had TDs engines
installed as well.  I think the engine serial numbers will indicate size.
 Also chk the rear end.  We had an F that screamed in 4th gear.  Take your
potential purchase for a run on the freeway and see how it performs at hiway
