Brake Master Cylinder

Friends,

Today I finished rebuilding the brake master cylinder for #2 and tested 
it on the bench and then installed it.  It seemed to loose it's prime, 
and never wanted to pump any brake fluid into the mostly dry lines.  The 
fluid never went down and I pumped the petal for 5 minutes with a brake 
bleeding  tube and bottle on a fron (close) wheel.  Any suggestions?
