Hi David:
I happen to think that your Countryman is a very handsome car - and a most
unusual one. You may be interested to know that the Queen owned one also -
although it was in the next series of car, the so-called Farina Austins.
Hers was one of only 2 built. If you think yours is rare....
On another matter, I visited an LBC repair shop here in Edmonton today. As
I walked into the shop I almost fell over because I saw a truly rare LBC -
in the same league as your car. It was an Austin Somerset convertible. It
is under restoration and is an extremely solid car. I believe that not
more than a few hundred of them were made. Now if you had both....
