Thanks for the thoughful advice on my proposed paint scheme. I
don't forsee selling the car for any reason, but anything is
possible. Since I'm only 27, the "kid DPO" factor could be a
problem. I want to personalize the car, but am coming up short for
ideas. I'm a Naval Aviator, so maybe a reproduction of my Naval
Flight Officer wings on the bonnet would be more suitable. I
probably made the paint colour sound more obnoxious than it really
would be. I'm not talking about the Ford pearl paint that changes
three different colous depending on the angle. I'm thinking more of
a dark frosty green, maybe the effect you would get with a VERY fine
metallic paint.
Maybe I'll just go with the canvas top and some new chrome, and see
how I feel after that.
